It’s a long way up into the clouds - though it really only takes a few minutes. The cars are kind of innovative -the interior revolves so that riders get different viewpoints. Sometimes looking up at the rocks above
And other times to the city far below.
We reached the top and felt like Gods living in the clouds.
It soon enough we could see the view - and just how high we were (3500 feet above sea level)
This is Lions Head mountain behind me and my crazy hair. I don’t think Chicago deserves windy status compared to Cape Town.
We headed back down in sunnier conditions
And Kat got caught in line trying to exit. If you check our other travel blogs you will see that somehow rule following always gets Kat trapped in a line that Rich evades.
